APHA’s 2016 Annual Meeting and Expo, themed ‘Creating the Healthiest Nation: Ensuring the Right to Health’, is just a few days away and thousands of public health advocates and practitioners are preparing to arrive in Denver. Make sure to check out the online schedule and digital program for a complete list of events set to take place.
Of note, on Monday, October 31 and Tuesday, November 1 there will be a few opportunities, including panel and poster presentations, to learn more about Plan4Health from coalition members and staff from the national organizations. Check out this blog for more details on each session related to Plan4Health. Click here to download a list of additional sessions related to the built environment that may be of interest to members of the Plan4Health community and anyone interested in planning and public health.
For those who are able to attend, check out this new video from APHA on what to know before you go to this year’s Annual Meeting:
Not able to make it to Denver? APHA has a few ways for you to participate. APHA Live provides virtual access to the Annual Meeting and is the perfect tool for anyone who cannot travel to Denver but is still looking to hear from leaders in the field, learn best practices and become part of a national conversation on public health’s biggest issues. RAMP: Recorded Annual Meeting Presentations, a digital library of presentations that syncs voice recordings with PowerPoint presentations, will also be available.
